“Nutrition”: the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth.

“Food”: something that nourishes, sustains, or supplies energy.

Processed "food" does not nourish the body, it causes more harm than good. The companies that created these excuses for food in a laboratory don't care about you or your health.  All they care about is profit margins.

I'm sure this is not the first time you have heard this call for mutiny against the processed food industry, but the fact is processed food is dead—void of nutrition. They "enrich" this "food" with synthetic vitamins the body can't absorb or utilize efficiently.

The truth of the matter is that natural whole foods, the way they appear in nature, are just that—whole and complete. They possess vitamins, minerals, fiber, enzymes, antioxidant and phytonutrients (these nutrients are what give fruit and vegetables their intense color and phenomenal nutrition value).

Knowing what to eat is half the battle—the other half is how much to eat of each food group (macronutrient quantities) and when to eat them (nutrient timing). Now this may all sounds very complicated and daunting, but I assure you I have a simple system to making eating properly very easy.

A quick word on nutritional supplements: these can be beneficial when used to supplement your whole foods diet, but they will not make up for an unbalanced diet of poor quality food.

Success! Message received.

As a top fashion and fitness model over the past 10+ years, I have discovered how to transform my body, shedding fat and building aesthetic muscle simultaneously. At first, the work was grueling and tedious--I was not sure how to efficiently achieve my goals! But as I started to realize my goals, both the achievement and the efforts themselves became rewarding!  What I have found is that through hard work and with the right formula (training + diet) amazing results can be had and maintained year round! I don’t believe in getting in shape for summer or for a specific vacation, I think it is important to look and feel your best at all times.

I have learned a tremendous amount about training and nutrition in my quest to be the best version of myself. Don’t get me wrong--it took a lot of hard work as well as boatloads of trial and error to find the best way of doing it. I only wish I could endow my younger self with all I have learned to this point. This is why I want to share all my knowledge to help others find a love for fitness and feel confident and proud! I offer online coaching as well as one on one training sessions in New York City.
